Jess and Bob celebrated their New England summer wedding at the Cape Club of Sharon! One of the things that drew them to choose the Cape Club was the reception space. They loved the room’s beams and high ceilings. They envisioned a modern, but chic wedding venue with lots of open space for their guests to enjoy. The Cape Club of Sharon definitely fulfilled that — along with cocktail hour’s great view of the 18th hole! Aesthetics aside, it was most important that they create a fun atmosphere for all of their closest family and friends.
The wedding ceremony happened at Saint Mary’s Parish in Franklin, Massachusetts. While their fur baby, Jack, may not have been able to attend the ceremony, he was lucky enough to join Jess and Bob for some photos before the group traveled to Sharon for the reception.
Jess and Bob originally met through Jess’ dad — who was also Bob’s high school baseball coach. Toasts told stories of Jess’s young crush on Bob, who was 5 years ahead of her in school. So it wasn’t until after college that the relationship really began. Their mutual love of sports made it only fitting that they’d get ready at the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, before celebrating into the night by the golf course at the Cape Club.
